English Week

English Week is observed from 22nd may to 27th may. The English department  has organised morning  and evening activities and activities are divided as class 7-12. class 7-8  have  presented importance of education , reading books during the morning assembly.
Class  9 presented a short drama. class 10 presented some speeches of great personalities  and class 11-12 have presented Poem reading and, writing by students them-selves.

And in the evening, we have organised English Movie, Extempore Contest and English Song Night. And on the corridor board English  Department  has put up Caption Contest for class 7-9 and 10-12 respectively.
There were  over-whelming participants  in all the activities .

Social Science Quiz

8th May 2017, Social Science department held class VII to IX quiz was organised. There were five groups and each group comprising four children.we had a groups names such as TEAM SKY,TEAM FIRE, TEAM EARTH  AND TEAM WATER. There were four rounds i.e General round , Tibetan history round, Audio -Visual  round and much awaited round that is specialized round. the winner of the quiz was none other than TEAM FIRE and congratulations!!!

Display Of Tibet Country Project

The senior section students and staff members were engaged in the Tibet Our Country Project for about a month. In order to do the project work, the school followed the 7th period time table. Basketball Tournament

From April 22 –may 2, inter-house basketball tournament was held under the guidance and supervision of the housemasters and games committee. Students from different classes representing the four houses played matches among three main divisions (VII & VIII, IX & X, and XI & XII) on the basis of their height and weight These games are considered important components of educational program through which we teach students; team work, team spirit, hard work, perseverance etc to make them well rounded besides academic scholarship. We inhibit the importance of winning and sense of competition rather we lay importance on fair play, exhibition of sportsmanship, acceptance of defeats and how to take on challenges in life through games and sports activities. the winner for senior boys Songtsen  and Senior girls Trisong.

First Inter-House Tibetan Elocution

The first  inter-house Tibetan Elocution contest was held on April 20 evening. This is one of the important literary activities of the Tibetan  Department as a part of making students learn Tibetan through recital presentation in the form of poetry recitation, one act play and speeches. Each house has to send three participants; one for compulsory poetry piece recitation, second for speech and third participant for one act play.

The eminent judges for the contest were; Mr. Phuntsok Tashi (Principal),  Mr. Karma Tenzin the assistant headmaster, and Rev.Lobsang  Khedup . The winners of different categories are; Miss. Tenzin Chokey  received the first position from the poetry section, Miss. Tsetan Samdup was adjudged as the winner from dramatic section and Mr. Tenzin Phuntsok and Mr. Karma Lama are  the best speaker from speech section. The house wise standing after the contest is as follows: the first position was bagged by Triral , Nyatri and Trisong, and followed by Songtsen,  after taking into the calculation of poetry, speech and dramatic sections.

Social Service Day

Social Service day was observed on 29th April 2017. Apart from the daily social service activities conducted in the school, on this day, students were taken out of the school campus to clean vicinity of Chamunda temple (a very holy place for Hindus), Dart, and Chachian. Local Indians appreciated our students for their sense of community service and students were accompanied by their respective class and subject teachers.
