Workshop on Professional Development

Gyen Kalsang Wangdu from Head Office has come to our school to conduct a workshop on teacher’s professional development on March 21, Friday. This program was sponsored by Tibet Fund in collaboration with Department of Education (DoE) to bring about changes and development in the field of academic education. Mr. Wangdu briefed the teachers about the responses received through online survey done last year and made us known about his research work and presented us with analytical data.  Two sessions held and in the first session he made power point presentation on ‘Professional Development Plan’ and the second session was on ‘Lesson Study’. Since our school is in the list of pilot school, we need to take a step in the direction of either professional development plan or do a lesson study from this year academic session 2014.
