The topics for Tibet Our Country Project have already been discussed in the last screening meeting held just before the close of school for winter vacation. Each class has been assigned a topic on religion. The theme for this year’s project is on ‘Tibetan Buddhism’. The project got started from March 17. Due to constraint of time, from this academic session, 7th period was created and added to the existing 6 regular periods basically for the project work to be carried out by the class teachers with students of respective classes. Students and concerned Tibetan teachers along with class teachers spent a lot of time in the preparation of TOCP due to nearing of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s visit to the school. We spent 5th, 6th, 7th periods in addition to evening self study period to get our project work done on time. The deadline for the project submission by classes was fixed on March 23, for selection to be done by the Management Committee Members on March 24, Sunday. The review of the project work by classes was done by MC on Sunday at 10.30 AM. and timely feedbacks were given to the concerned classes for refinement of the project before they were being presented to the His Holiness. Tibetan and Class teachers along with students have been urged to stay back after the school hour till 5.30 PM to get going with improvement of Tibet Our Country.
